Network monitoring¶
Concept¶
Using a various number of protocols the network monitoring helps checking if network devices are available.
Warning
The osp-network-monitoring connector can have a high throughput and a lot of requests can be sent in a very short time. Use of slow polling speed is preferable, as there is no need in most cases for fast failure report.

ICMP monitoring¶
Concept¶
The module will send one ICMP request to a specified target at a fixed rate (defined in configuration see owner.network-monitoring)
Warning
Most docker swarm are not supporting IPV6 natively, use either a remote-connector linked to host network or configure the swarm like described there Docker IPV6 documentation
